School Rules and Regulations for Students and Parents
1. School Timings and Attendance
Students must arrive at school by 8:50 AM. Any late arrivals after 9:10 AM will be marked as late.
Students must maintain at least 85% attendance to be eligible for promotions and participation in extracurricular activities.
Any planned leave should be informed at least one day in advance through the school diary or email. For emergency leaves, parents must call and inform the office before 9:00 AM.
Three late arrivals in a month will lead to disciplinary action.
2. Dress Code and Uniform Policy
Students must wear the complete school uniform with polished shoes and clean socks every day.
Hair must be neatly groomed – boys should have short hair, and girls must tie their hair neatly.
Wearing the school ID card is compulsory every day.
On sports days and PT classes, students must wear sports uniforms as per the schedule.
3. Hygiene and Personal Cleanliness
Students must maintain personal hygiene (trimmed nails, clean uniforms, proper bathing).
Washrooms must be kept clean after use. Misuse or damage to washroom facilities will result in penalties.
Littering is strictly prohibited. Dustbins must be used for waste disposal.
4. Classroom Discipline
Students should maintain silence and discipline in classrooms, corridors, and common areas.
No student is allowed to leave the classroom without the teacher’s permission.
Writing on desks, walls, or furniture is strictly prohibited. If found, parents will be held responsible for the repair cost.
5. Behavior and Code of Conduct for Students
Respect for teachers, staff, and peers is mandatory.
Bullying, teasing, or harassment of any kind will result in strict disciplinary action.
Use of foul language or physical fights will not be tolerated. Repeated offenses will lead to suspension or expulsion.
6. Code of Conduct for Parents
Parents must communicate with school staff respectfully and avoid arguments in front of students.
Use of offensive language or disrespectful behavior towards school staff will lead to strict action, including denial of entry into the school premises.
Parents are not allowed to directly enter classrooms or meet teachers during school hours without prior permission.
Any concerns should be addressed through proper channels like scheduled PTMs, emails, or appointments.
7. Technology and Gadgets Policy
Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices to school.
Any unauthorized device found will be confiscated and returned only to parents after a written apology.
Use of school computers and projectors must be for educational purposes only. Any misuse will result in strict action.
8. Transportation Rules
Students must be ready at their pickup points at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
Misbehavior on the bus will result in temporary suspension from transport services.
Parents should ensure that students are picked up on time after school. The school is not responsible for students staying beyond school hours.
9. Lunch and Food Guidelines
Students must carry healthy homemade food. Junk food, carbonated drinks, and chocolates are not allowed.
Sharing of food is discouraged due to allergy concerns.
10. Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs)
Attendance at PTMs is mandatory.
Parents should come prepared with specific queries related to their child’s progress.
11. Homework and Assignments
All homework and projects must be completed on time.
Repeated failure to submit assignments will result in marks deduction and parent notification.
Safety and Security
No student is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without prior permission and a written request from parents.
Students should not talk to strangers near the school gate or interact with unknown persons while using school transport.
Fire drills and safety training sessions will be conducted regularly. Students must participate and follow instructions strictly.
12. Prohibited Items
Sharp objects, matches, lighters, or any harmful materials are strictly prohibited.
Expensive jewelry, excessive cash, or valuable items are not allowed. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
13. School Property and Facilities
Any damage to school property will be charged to the student’s parents.
Classrooms, washrooms, and corridors must be kept clean and well-maintained.
14. Celebrations and Special Occasions
No personal birthday celebrations are allowed in school (except for pre-approved small distributions like chocolates).
Parents must not send large cakes or gifts to school.
Festivals will be celebrated in a secular manner with equal representation of all cultures.
15. Disciplinary Actions
First Violation: Warning letter to parents.
Second Violation: Meeting with parents and student counseling.
Third Violation: Suspension from school for a specific period.
Repeated Violations: Expulsion from school with no refund of fees.
16. Updates and Changes
The school reserves the right to update rules and regulations whenever required.
Parents will be informed through emails, circulars, or PTMs.
17. Acknowledgment and Agreement
Every student and parent must sign a declaration stating they have read and understood these rules and regulations.
Failure to follow these rules will result in appropriate disciplinary action.
18. CCTV Footage Policy
CCTV footage of the school will not be provided to any parents under any circumstances.
The footage is strictly for internal security purposes and will only be accessed by the school management when necessary.
